With tons of outdoor space and a schedule full of variety, every day brings something new to discover.

👋 Meet the Camp Director: Ms. Lauren Riddell

Leading the fun this summer is Ms. Lauren Riddell! With 7 years of experience in education and youth programs, Lauren has served as a teacher, mentor, counselor, and leader. Each role has shaped her belief that camp should be a place where kids feel safe, confident, included, and free to be their very best selves.

This is Lauren’s first year as Camp Director, and she couldn’t be more excited to welcome campers and families. When she’s not planning the next big camp event, Lauren loves spending time with friends and family, making lifelong memories — something she can’t wait to help campers do all summer long.

☀️ A Day in the Life at Rivers Retreat

🌅 Morning Care (Starting at 7:30 AM) Campers ease into the day with relaxed activities like games, coloring, and indoor play before the big adventures begin.

🎶 Rocky Rally We gather for songs, energy, and excitement to kick off the day Kidcam-style. It’s loud, joyful, and full of smiles.

🏊‍♂️🌳 Morning Activities Campers rotate through age-appropriate activities in small groups, exploring everything from swimming and archery to science projects and team challenges. Nature trails, field games, and water play keep everyone moving and engaged.

🍽️ Lunch & Snack Breaks Time to recharge! Campers can bring meals or enjoy pre-purchased options, followed by snack time to keep energy high.

🏀🎭 Afternoon Adventures Afternoons bring arts & crafts, team sports, indoor recreation in the A/C, and preparations for talent shows and special events.

🌈 Rocky Wrap-Up & Extended Care We end the day celebrating memories made, then head to pickup or Extended Care filled with free play, movies, and more fun.

After days filled with laughter, learning, sunshine, and adventure, campers head home tired, happy, and ready to do it all again tomorrow.
