Parent Quick Tip Pocket Guides

Hi Kidcam Families,

As we get closer to the start of camp, we’re excited to introduce our new Kidcam Parent Pocket Guides— quick, easy-to-follow tips designed to help you manage registrations, payments, schedules, and all the little details that make summer easier. You can find them attached to this email as a PDF and linked above.

Think of them as your go-to guides for navigating your Kidcam Parent Account and preparing for a smooth, stress-free summer.

This week’s reminder: It’s time to start thinking about your Week 1 Extended Care and Food Options if your camper is starting camp the week of May 26.

If you haven’t already added these options to your weekly tuition purchase, you can log into your Parent Account anytime over the next week to do so.

A few helpful things to know:

🍎 Food OptionsBreakfast, lunch, and snacks should be pre-purchased through your Parent Account prior to arriving at camp. In an effort to manage our purchasing, we will not be selling food items to campers who do not already have these items purchased in advance. Yes, you can let us know that morning if lunch was left on the kitchen counter, and Sally needs lunch today.

⏰ Morning Care & After CareBefore Care and After Care do allow drop-ins without pre-purchasing, and we can charge your card on file daily if needed. However, purchasing these options in advance for the week is much easier for both your family and our team, helping avoid multiple charges and daily confirmations at check-in.

Campers who do not need Before Care may be dropped off during regular camp arrival between 8:30–9:00 AM at no additional charge.

And don’t worry — if you’re running late at pickup, any camper not picked up during regular carpool will transition into After Care.

We also want you to know that we understand there’s a learning curve this summer with our new registration system and updated purchasing process. Our team is learning right alongside you, and we truly appreciate your patience and flexibility as we all navigate the new system together.

There is still time to purchase additional weeks or join a waitlist if your camp location is currently full.

We’ll continue sharing important “Things to Know” over the next week, and you’ll receive your Week 1 schedule and location-specific reminders in your official Week 1 Things to Know email next Friday and Sunday.

Download the Kidcam App in the App or Google Play Store so we can start sending you Push Notifications, too.  It’s very helpful. (PS - you cannot add Food or Extended Care through the App IF you already purchased a week. We know. Not ideal. But there will be a link to your Parent Portal as a notification so you can easily access the Parent Portal from your Internet Browser.)
