Kidcam Camps at Jerusalem Shriners in Destrehan runs for 9 exciting weeks, giving campers a place to grow, explore, and make friendships that last long after summer ends. With tons of outdoor space and a schedule full of variety, every day brings something new to discover.

🏊 Campers swim once per week at Hill Heights Country Club, adding a splash of fun and confidence-building time in the water.

Campers also enjoy full use of the outdoor space for field games, sports, and high-energy activities that keep them moving and engaged. Weekly themes blend learning, creativity, and teamwork in ways that feel like pure summer fun.

👟 Meet the Camp Director: Coach Wayne Sentilles

Camp is led by Coach Wayne Sentilles, a Kidcam veteran since 1997. His experience, enthusiasm, and heart for kids help create a camp environment where everyone feels encouraged and included.

Fun facts about Coach Wayne:

🏆 Teacher and coach for 20 years at Destrehan High School — recently named Teacher of the Year 🏈 Part of three State Championship football teams as a coach 🎸 Has played guitar since age 12 👨‍🍳 Loves cooking with his family 🎉 Has worked in nearly every role at Kidcam over the years

Coach Wayne believes camp should be structured, supportive, and full of joy — and that shows in every part of the day.
