🌞 Summer Fun Finds a Home at Kidcam Camps at Faith Lutheran School, Harahan!

If you’re looking for a summer filled with laughter, movement, creativity, and growth, Kidcam Camps at Faith Lutheran School in Harahan is ready to welcome your camper. Our 9-week camp, with Morning Care starting at 7:00 AM, gives kids a place to stay active, make friends, and experience the kind of summer they’ll be talking about long after it ends.

🌈 The Spirit of Summer Comes Alive

Each week brings a brand-new theme that sparks imagination and keeps campers excited to come back each day. Activities are built around Kidcam’s core curriculum areas:

• Indoor & outdoor recreation

🏊 Campers swim multiple times per week at Riverside Country Club, giving them the chance to cool off, stay active, and build confidence in the water.

With tons of outdoor space for games, sports, and high-energy activities, campers enjoy the perfect balance of movement, teamwork, and creativity. Every day blends structured fun with opportunities for personal growth and new discoveries.

👩‍🏫 Meet Your Camp Directors

This site is co-led by two amazing educators who bring heart, humor, and experience to camp life.

Erica Gauthreaux has been teaching since 2003 and has worked in summer camps even longer. A proud New Orleans native, she lives in River Ridge with her husband, two daughters, and their pets. Erica believes in sending kids home happily exhausted after full days of fun. She’s obsessed with Dachshunds, always has a virtual shopping cart full of things she might buy, and can truly talk to anyone — which means every camper and parent feels instantly welcome. 

Alyssa Godfrey has been a Kindergarten teacher since 2018 and joined Kidcam in 2023. She also lives in River Ridge with her husband and two kids. Alyssa loves helping children build memories that last a lifetime and is passionate about creating a camp environment that feels fun, safe, welcoming, and full of joy.

Together, Erica and Alyssa create a camp atmosphere where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to be part of the fun.

🌅 Morning Care begins at 7:00 AM Campers start with relaxed games and creative play.

🎶 Rocky Rally We kick off with music, cheers, and daily excitement.

🏃‍♂️ Morning Activities Campers rotate through recreation, STEM projects, arts, sports, and outdoor fun in small groups.

🍽️ Lunch & Snack Time A chance to recharge before afternoon adventures.

🎭 Afternoon Highlights Creative projects, movement games, and classic Kidcam traditions that keep the fun going.

🌈 Rocky Wrap-Up & Extended Care We celebrate the day before pickup or Extended Care with free play and favorite activities.
