Kidcam Camps at Lakewood Elementary in Luling runs for 9 exciting weeks, with Morning Care starting at 7:00 AM, giving families flexibility and kids a full day of adventure. 🏊 Campers swim once per week at Mimosa Swim Club, giving them a fun and refreshing highlight to look forward to.

With tons of green space for outdoor games and activities plus a large indoor gym with breakout rooms, campers get the best of both worlds — space to run and play, along with cool, structured areas for creative projects and group activities.

👩‍🏫 Meet the Camp Director: Ashlynn Dufour

Leading the fun is Ashlynn Dufour, returning for her second year as Camp Director. With over 12 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Ashlynn is passionate about creating positive, fun, and enriching experiences for children. She truly loves working with kids and is committed to helping every camper have a memorable and meaningful summer.

Ashlynn is a graduate of Nicholls State University and Southeastern Louisiana University. When she’s not at camp, you’ll find her cheering on one of her three boys at the ballpark or theater. She also enjoys traveling and reading, bringing that sense of curiosity and enthusiasm right into camp life.

Her goal? A camp where kids feel supported, encouraged, and excited to come back every day.

🌅 Morning Care (7:00 AM) A relaxed start with games and creative play.

🎶 Rocky Rally Songs, cheers, and daily excitement to kick things off.

🏃‍♂️ Morning Activities Campers rotate through sports, STEM projects, arts, recreation, and outdoor fun in small groups.

🍽️ Lunch & Snack Time Recharge and connect with friends.

🎭 Afternoon Adventures Creative projects, team games, and classic Kidcam traditions that bring the whole camp together.
