What’s New for Our 52nd Summer — 2026 Updates, Savings, New Locations & More

For 52 summers, Kidcam Camps has been a place where campers feel known, celebrated, and ready to shine. It’s a place filled with friendships, imagination, belly laughs, and memories that last long after the school year begins again.

As we count down to Summer 2026, we couldn’t be more excited to open another season of adventure, growth, and pure Kidcam magic. This year, we’re thrilled to offer more flexibility, more value, and more ways for families to customize their perfect summer.

Registration officially opens January 5, and we’ve introduced several parent-friendly enhancements through a new registration platform. This will make planning easier than ever. We also have new camp locations, including our newest host site at Tulane University’s Reily Center in New Orleans!

Here’s everything you need to know as you get ready for Kidcam’s 52nd summer:

New Early Bird Registration Tiers — Bigger Savings, More Flexibility

For the first time ever, Kidcam is offering tiered Early Bird registration fees. This gives families more ways to save based on how early they register:

• $30 Early Bird Registration (January 5–31)

• $40 Early Bird Registration (February 1–28)

• $50 Registration (March 1–31)

  
  

Beginning April 1, fees return to the standard $60. The earlier you register, the more you save. Plus, your camper is guaranteed a spot at their preferred location and favorite weekly themes.

👕 Free Kidcam Summer T-Shirt — Now Through March 31

This year, families who register by March 31 will receive a FREE 2026 Kidcam Camps T-shirt. It’s perfect for spirit days, field trips, and showing off that Kidcam pride all summer long! The shirt is added with your registration fee. Simply select the size during the registration process.

💳 Deposits & Flexible Payment Plans (select locations)

We heard you! We’re excited to introduce deposit options and monthly payment plans for select locations*. Families can now:

✔ Secure a spot with a camp deposit

✔ Spread tuition over flexible monthly payments

✔ Manage balances easily through your online account

Note: Locations that typically reach capacity before May 1 are not available for these features.

⏰ Simplified Extended Care Packages — With Built-In Savings

Working families need options, and Kidcam has always prioritized flexibility. For 2026, we’ve redesigned Extended Care with streamlined pricing, clearer options, and bundle savings. This makes before-care, after-care, or both more affordable.

🍎 Introducing Food Credits — A Smarter Way to Manage Camp Lunches

New for 2026, parents can now purchase food options by the day and by the meal. This gives you full control over when and what your camper is buying. Choose breakfast, lunch, and up to two snacks per day for any week your camper attends, all through your parent account. Lunches & Snacks must be prepurchased for the week your camper is attending.

🔄 Self-Service Transfers & Refund Tools — More Transparency, Faster Changes

Life happens, and Kidcam wants to make managing your camper’s schedule easier. Now families can make changes and cancel weeks through the Parent Account in Active Network.

• Registration fees and add-ons are non-refundable.

• Transfers between weeks are allowed up to 10 days before the start of a week.

• A $10 change fee per camper/week applies.

• Refunds can be processed up to 4 weeks before a camper’s start date.

• A $10 fee per camper/week + credit card processing fees apply.

  
  

Transfers and refund requests can now be managed directly in your online Parent Portal! No emails needed. No delays. Just simple, self-service tools at your fingertips.

We’re thrilled to welcome Tulane University’s Reily Center as our newest Kidcam host site. This location offers campers access to top-notch facilities and brand-new program opportunities.
