Nestled in the heart of Uptown New Orleans, this 10-week camp blends classic Kidcam magic with the excitement of a university-style recreation environment that kids absolutely love.

With Morning Care beginning at 7:00 AM, families enjoy flexibility, while campers ease into their day surrounded by friends, caring counselors, and that unmistakable “camp buzz” that only Kidcam can create.

The Spirit of Summer Comes Alive

From the very first Rocky Rally to the last high-five of the day, the Spirit of Summer is everywhere at Kidcam Tulane. Designed for campers K–13, each week features a brand-new theme that keeps camp fresh, fun, and full of surprises.

A Day in the Life of Camp at Kidcam Tulane

Morning Care starts the day off right with calm, welcoming activities like games, drawing, and chatting with friends before the energy ramps up. Once camp officially begins, campers gather for Rocky Rally — a high-energy kickoff filled with music, movement, camp rules, and contagious excitement.

Throughout the day, campers move through age-appropriate activity rotations in small groups, building friendships, trying new things, and gaining confidence with the support of Kidcam’s trained staff. Water breaks, shade, and hydration stations are built into the day, keeping campers comfortable and energized.

Midday brings lunch and snacks, followed by afternoon adventures that might include preparing for a talent show, indoor gym games, creative projects, or cheering on counselors in friendly competitions. Before heading home, campers come together for a joyful Rocky Wrap-Up, celebrating the memories made that day and getting excited to do it all again tomorrow.

Meet the Camp Director: Mrs. Kacey Albert

At the heart of Kidcam Tulane is Mrs. Kacey Albert, a 15-year Kidcam Rockstar herself, whose passion for children and camp shines in everything she does. A Houston native and LSU graduate, Kacey is an elementary teacher in Jefferson Parish Public Schools and a proud mom of two daughters.

She loves adventure, Mahjong, and arts & crafts — and those passions show up daily in the creative, welcoming camp culture she builds. Kacey’s goal is simple but powerful: to make sure every camper feels seen, supported, and excited to be part of the Kidcam family.
