Every Day Away is a summer day camp concept, brought to you by 50-year summer camp experts, Kidcam Camps. Now in its 9th summer, campers age 7-14 will not stay put, but get off campus every day as they enjoy new destinations & surprising excursions. We don’t just hit the road, we get out of town!
Every Day Away (EDA) offers a unique day camp experience each week allowing our campers the opportunity to get out and about each day. They make amazing memories with new friends, enjoy times with old friends who return year after year or join them from school circles. EDA allows them to "get out of their daily bubble,” all while providing a feeling of some new-found independence with safe adventures and stimulation that tests their strengths, and even helps them overcome some fears. Each week we look to incorporate a community service & educational element to the curriculum and activities.
EDA Campers must be age 7 at the start of camp, and should be solid swimmers in order to attend all of the swimming/water park adventures.

Registration Fee

Weekly Payments
Weekly tuition must be paid to secure a camper's place in a week. Enrollment is on a first-come, first served basis and will close once spots in a week are full. If space remains, parents may register up until the Thursday prior to a week. Tuition payments must be made through your parent account online.
Transfers
Transfers between camp weeks must be made no less than 10 days leading up to the week of the transfer.
There is available space remaining in the week requested

A $10 administrative fee will be added to all transfer requests that can be accommodated.

Transfers can now be managed directly in your online Parent Portal within the policy timeframe and through the section of the week you need to transfer!
Refunds
Registration fees are non-refundable. Please visit our Policies & Procedures for complete details on refunds.

Refunds can be processed up to 4 weeks before a camper’s start date

$10 fee per camper/week + credit card processing fees.

More To Know...
Ages
Every Day Away is open to boys and girls, 7-14 years old. Campers must be 7 years old at the start of camp and be solid, confident swimmers.
EDA Campers must be age 7 at the start of camp, and should be a solid swimmer in order to attend all of the swimming/water park adventures.
Lunch & Snacks
Campers must bring a snack, lunch and water bottle daily. We recommend they bring morning and afternoon snacks as well.
Some EDA Trips provide lunch, and these days will be listed on your weekly camp schedule with details by trip.
For safety reasons, glass bottled drinks are not allowed. Box drinks, canned drinks, or plastic/insulated thermos are acceptable.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up are located at the main entrance on Broadway Ave.
Before & After Care
7:30 - 8:30 AM | 3:00 - 5:30 PM After-care

Before Camp Care is available as early as 7:30 AM. Campers may arrive between 8:30AM-8:55AM at no charge. The camp day begins at 9:00AM.

After Camp Care is available from 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM.

Hourly Option - Pay-as-you-go - $4/hour - rolls over - Week to week

Can also be billed 'as needed' by day to credit card on file.
Gear
CAMP SHIRTS MUST BE WORN EVERY DAY. There is no exception to this rule unless a day is noted on your schedule as “costume day” or other type of special dress day.
If a camper comes to camp without a camp shirt, the camper MUST purchase a shirt to remain in camp that day. The parents also have the option to bring a shirt to camp.
Please label all shirts, shorts, shoes, towels, water bottles and lunch boxes, or other items brought from home.
Activities
Every Day Away Campers enjoy every day at a fun-filled destination across southern Louisiana…even on rainy days! Weekly schedules will be available.
