Introducing Kidcam Summer Day Camp with Kenner Parks & Rec at the Muss Bertolino

Under the direction of our tenured camp directors, Mrs. Patricia Wright and Mrs. Kacey Albert, campers will enjoy the ultimate summer experience at Kidcam Summer Day Camp with Kenner Parks & Rec at Muss Bertolino. Kidcam is one of the most trusted names in day camps for children ages 5-13, dedicated to bringing the Spirit of Summer to life by creating unforgettable memories and lasting friendships through the power of camp.

Based at Muss Bertolino, campers will enjoy weekly themes celebrating the best of Kidcam’s 50 years (Throwback through the Decades), indoor and outdoor courts, sport fields, weekly swimming (hopefully at Westgate Swim Club), group activities, life skills and ultimate adventures.

Weekly themes: Campers explore new themes each week, incorporating sports, arts, STEM, swimming, competitions and more. This year, Kidcam turns 50, so each week we will celebrate a different decade with the best of the 70s, 80, 90, 2000s and beyond!

Here's what makes Kidcam special:

  • Safe and supportive environment: Kidcam partners with premier facilities like Kenner Parks & Rec to create welcoming and safe spaces for children with quality programming.

  • Focus on individual growth: Kidcam celebrates every child's uniqueness and helps them discover their talents and strengths.

  • Engaging activities: From sports and swimming to creative arts and learning life skills, there's something for everyone.

  • Accredited program: Kidcam is accredited by the American Camp Association, ensuring the highest quality standards.

  • Flexible options: Choose the weeks that work for you, and take advantage of extended hours, lunch and snack options, and highly trained staff.

Accreditation

Kidcam Camps is proud to be Accredited by the American Camp Association. ACA Accreditation means that your child’s camp cares enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of its operation every year — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to safety. ACA accreditation assures families that camps have made the commitment to a safe, nurturing environment for their children. ACA standards are recognized by courts of law and government regulators as the standards of the camp community.
