For campers K–13, the Spirit of Summer comes alive at Western Kentucky University’s Preston Center. Camper activities at the Preston Center include swimming 2 days a week, STEM, sports, arts, life skills, water play, and Kidcam’s long-standing traditions. Plus, they will enjoy talent shows, counselor competitions, and more.

Before & After Care
7:00 - 8:30 AM | 3:00 - 6:00 PM After-care
Before Camp Care is available as early as 7:00 AM. Campers may arrive between 8:30AM-8:55AM at no charge. The camp day begins at 9:00AM.
After Camp Care is available from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Registration
Register campers by clicking the Register Now button to create an online, Parent Portal through Active Network. Call 877-454-3226 with any questions or email Rocky@KidcamCamps.com.
Registration Fee
Registration fees are non-refundable. Please visit our Policies & Procedures for complete details on refunds.

Weekly Tuition
Weekly tuition must be paid to secure a camper's place in a week. Enrollment is on a first-come, first served basis and will close once spots in a week are full. If space remains, parents may register up until the Friday prior to a week. Tuition payments must be made through your parent account online.
Refunds
Registration fees are non-refundable. Please visit our Policies & Procedures for complete details on refunds.
Refunds can be processed up to 4 weeks before a camper’s start date by emailing accounting@kidcamcamps.com.
$10 fee per camper/week + credit card processing fees.
Transfer of weeks can now be managed directly in your online Parent Portal if processed 10 days prior to a camper's weekly start date.
Transfers
Transfers between camp weeks must be made no less than 10 days leading up to the week of the transfer if here is available space remaining in the week requested.
A $10 administrative fee will be added to all transfer requests that can be accommodated.
Transfers can now be managed directly in your online Parent Portal within the policy timeframe and through the section of the week you need to transfer!

Ages
Kidcam Camp is open to boys and girls, K-13 years old. Campers MUST be entering Kindergarten before attending a Kidcam Camp.
Lunch & Snacks
Parents may send food from home for their campers each day or pre-purchase Breakfast, lunch, and snack for each day they attend.
Breakfast - $2.25 per day, per camper
Lunch - $8.25 per day, per camper (university dining)
Snacks - $2.25 per day, per camper
Food options MUST be pre-purchased, by day, through your Parent Portal.
For lunch, snacks and breakfast, item MUST be purchased as an Add-On in the weekly section of your Parent Portal for each day the meal item is needed. Parents can do this each week through their 'order' section for the week in their parent portal.
If a camper doesn't have lunch, lunch will be charged using the card on file.
For safety reasons, glass bottled drinks are not allowed at camp. Box drinks, canned drinks, or plastic/insulated thermos are acceptable.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up are located at the WKU Preston Center-Campus Recreation & Wellness, in the roundabout off Regents Ave in the Regents Hall lot. Please do not park and walk your camper up for drop-off, stay in the carpool line. WKU employees may walk their camper to the drop off spot from their place of work.

Can also be drop-in, billed 'as needed' by day to credit card on file.
Gear
CAMP SHIRTS MUST BE WORN EVERY DAY. There is no exception to this rule unless a day is noted on your schedule as “costume day” or other type of special dress day.
If a camper comes to camp without a camp shirt, the camper MUST purchase a shirt to remain in camp that day. The parents also have the option to bring a shirt to camp.
Please label all shirts, shorts, shoes, towels, water bottles and lunch boxes, or other items brought from home.
Activities | Weekly Themes
Kidcam’s engaging weekly themes are action-packed with activities that promote fun, fitness, friendship, and creativity each week.
“The Spirit of Summer” celebrates all that makes Kidcam’s 52 years GREAT!
Campers enjoy a different theme each week, while incorporating activities ranging from sports, arts, STEM, special activities, and water play.
Weekly schedules and any field trips will be posted online no later than the Friday prior to each week a camper attends.

Gregory Smithson
Kidcam Camp at Western Kentucky University: Gregory Smithson
Greg is thrilled to join the team as the new Camp Director at Western Kentucky University! With a B.A. in Recreation, Tourism & Sports Management and a strong background in outdoor leadership; including serving as the Interim Director at Loucon Training & Retreat Center, Gregory brings a wealth of experience to Kidcam. He is passionate about experiential learning and helping people reach their potential. Gregory is eager to meet the campers and support the staff in making this summer an incredible experience for every family!
Fun Facts:
• Currently the Founder & Chief Facilitator at Trellis Team Dynamics and a proud stay-at-home dad.
• An avid outdoorsman who enjoys kayaking, climbing, hiking, and camping with friends and family.
• Once performed in a middle school circus where he walked on giant globes, juggled, and ate fire!
• Loves spending time with his wife, their two children, two cats, and dog.
