EDA homebase location at Chapel of the Holy Spirit at 1100 Braoadway on the corner of Zimple. All drop off and pickups should happen from that location. Details will be addressed with registered parents closer to that week of camp!
Every Day Away is a summer day camp concept, brought to you by 50-year summer camp experts, Kidcam Camps. Now in its 9th summer, campers age 7-14 will not stay put, but get off campus every day as they enjoy new destinations & surprising excursions. We don’t just hit the road, we get out of town!
Every Day Away (EDA) offers a unique day camp experience each week allowing our campers the opportunity to get out and about each day. They make amazing memories with new friends, enjoy times with old friends who return year after year or join them from school circles. EDA allows them to "get out of their daily bubble,” all while providing a feeling of some new-found independence with safe adventures and stimulation that tests their strengths, and even helps them overcome some fears. Each week we look to incorporate a community service & educational element to the curriculum and activities.

EDA Campers must be age 7 at the start of camp, and should be solid swimmers in order to attend all of the swimming/water park adventures.

More To Know...
Ages
Every Day Away is open to boys and girls, 7-14 years old. Campers must turn 7 by the start of camp and be solid, confident swimmers.
Lunch & Snacks
Campers should bring their lunch/snacks each day. There are a few field trips where lunch will either be included or charged to your account. These days are posted on the weekly field trip schedule.
Campers may bring snacks from home or snacks daily.
Snacks - $2.25 per day, per camper
Campers will only be allowed to purchase snacks and/or drinks at camp if food credits have been purchased through their camp account.
Purchase number of 'snack items' your camper needs weekly in the Merchandise section of your shopping cart when buying weeks.
Campers MUST have pre-purchased food items in order to buy snacks.
No need to send cash — all purchases are linked to your camper’s account!
Credits roll over week-to-week, so buy them all at once or on a weekly basis.
For safety reasons, glass bottled drinks are not allowed at camp. Box drinks, canned drinks, or plastic/insulated thermos are acceptable.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up are located at the side entrance on Zimple St. (Take Freret, then a right onto Pine St., then a right onto Zimple St.)
Before Care & After Care

Gear
CAMP SHIRTS MUST BE WORN EVERY DAY. There is no exception to this rule unless a day is noted on your schedule as “costume day” or other type of special dress day.
First Camp Shirt is free with tuition. Add to your shopping cart and use code EDASHIRT25 to discount the price.
If a camper comes to camp without a camp shirt, the camper MUST purchase a shirt to remain in camp that day. The parents also have the option to bring a shirt to camp.
Please label all shirts, shorts, shoes, towels, water bottles and lunch boxes, or other items brought from home.
Activities
Swimming
Many field trips are swimming trips. Campers must swim 15' independently to or wear a Coast-Guard approved life vest to enjoy the water activities.

Weekly Tuition
Weekly tuition must be paid to secure a camper's place in a week. Enrollment is on a first-come, first served basis and will close once spots in a week are full. If space remains, parents may register up until the Thursday prior to a week. Tuition payments must be made through your parent account online.
Refunds
Registration fees are non-refundable. Please visit our Policies & Procedures for complete details on refunds.
Refunds can be processed up to 4 weeks before a camper’s start date
$10 fee per camper/week + credit card processing fees.
Transfers and refund requests can now be managed directly in your online Parent Portal!
Transfers
Transfers between camp weeks must be made no less than 10 days leading up to the week of the transfer.
There is available space remaining in the week requested
A $10 administrative fee will be added to all transfer requests that can be accommodated.

Accreditation
Kidcam Camps is proud to be Accredited by the American Camp Association. ACA Accreditation means that your child’s camp cares enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of its operation every year — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to safety. ACA accreditation assures families that camps have made the commitment to a safe, nurturing environment for their children. ACA standards are recognized by courts of law and government regulators as the standards of the camp community.

Paul Marcello is a school counselor at Brother Martin High School and is excited to get back to working with Kidcam Camps! He is ready to spend Every Day Away and have fun on all of the great activities we have planned.
