Kidcam Camps is excited to bring its Every Day Away specialty camp concept to the Northshore based at Maritime Museum Louisiana in Madisonville. Every Day Away is in its 7th summer as an engaging fun-filled specialty camp program brought to you by Kidcam. Campers ages 8-14 will not stay put but get off campus every day as they enjoy new destinations & surprising excursions. We don’t just hit the road, we get out of town!
Every Day Away (EDA) offers a unique day camp experience each week allowing our campers the opportunity to get out and about each day. They make amazing memories with new friends, enjoy times with old friends who return year after year or join them from school circles. EDA allows them to "get out of their daily bubble”, all while providing a feeling of some new-found independence with safe adventures and stimulation that tests their strengths, and even helps them overcome some fears.
EDA Campers must be age 8 at the start of camp, and should be a solid swimmer in order to attend all of the swimming/water park adventures.
Campers looking to mix & match weeks between Kidcam Day Camp (ages 6-13) and Every Day Away (ages 8-14) based at Maritime Museum can email Rocky@KidcamCamps.com to pay only one registration fee.

Registration
Parents may register their Rockstars by visiting www.kidcamcamp.net or by calling 877-4KIDCAM
Registration Fee
There is a non-refundable one-time Registration Fee of $50. This registration fee is waived for Kidcam Campers attending another 2022 summer camp. Email SummersRock@KidcamCamps.com for assistance with this.
Registration fees are subject to change after April 1st based on the camp enrollment.
Weekly Payments
Weekly tuition must be paid to secure a camper's place in a week. Enrollment is on a first-come, first served basis and will close once spots in a week are full. If space remains, parents may register up until the Thursday prior to a week. Tuition payments must be made through your parent account online.
Refunds
Registration fees are non-refundable. Please visit our Policies & Procedures for complete details on refunds.
Pre-Paid Account
Pre-paid food accounts are not available for Every Day Away campers. Campers must bring a snack, lunch, and refillable water bottle with them every day. Morning and afternoon snacks are also recommended.
Pre-paid Aftercare accounts are debit accounts to which you can add funds for the summer, or on an as-needed basis. Money is auto-deduct as it is used for aftercare.
Pre-paid funds are shared between campers on the same account.
Money may be applied toward balances due in either account if there are funds in one, and a balance due in another.
Transfers
Transfer requests will be accepted if

The request is made no less than 5 days leading up to the week of the transfer

There is available space remaining in the week requested

A $10 administrative fee will be added to all transfer requests that can be accommodated.

Ages
Every Day Away is open to boys and girls, 8-14 years old. Campers must be 8 years old at the start of camp and be solid, confident swimmers.
Lunch & Snacks
Campers must bring a snack, lunch and water bottle daily. We recommend they bring morning and afternoon snacks as well.
For safety reasons, glass bottled drinks are not allowed. Box drinks, canned drinks, or plastic/insulated thermos are acceptable.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up are located right in front of the main entrance of the Maritime Museum.
After Care
After camp childcare is available at a rate of $4/hour (siblings $2/hour), ends by 5:30 PM.
Gear
CAMP SHIRTS MUST BE WORN EVERY DAY. There is no exception to this rule unless a day is noted on your schedule as “costume day” or other type of special dress day.
If a camper comes to camp without a camp shirt, the camper MUST purchase a shirt to remain in camp that day. The parents also have the option to bring a shirt to camp.
Please label all shirts, shorts, shoes, towels, water bottles and lunch boxes, or other items brought from home.
Activities
Every Day Away Campers enjoy every day at a fun-filled destination across southern Louisiana…even on rainy days! Weekly schedules will be available.
